Ruth’s Zoom-bellishment classes 2024!
Embellishment classes are our favorite classes. Everyone has a different canvas and a super cool stitchguide! How fun is that? You pick the canvas; we do the rest. Your guide will have stitches, threads and all the details. There’s an energy to these classes that I love. With everyone doing something different it’s so fun to watch your neighbor’s canvas come to life.
We have embraced Zoom and we love it! We miss seeing you in person, but Zoom allows us to stitch with new friends who could not otherwise travel to us.
The process is the same in person or via Zoom. You have your canvas, your threads and a complete stitchguide. No worrying about when will I get my turn? Will all the areas of my canvas be addressed? We will simply dive in and spend the time test driving the areas you want to experiment with or the areas I think may require a demo. It’s a relaxing, fun way to spend your class time.
In the interest of bringing this fun to more people, we have a system. The first people to sign up for any embellishment class get to choose their own canvas. Once we hit the number of new guides I can actually produce, anyone else who wants to join has to select either something someone else in the class is stitching or something that already has a guide. Class project options will be posted once spaces for new stitchguides are full.
There is a limit to the total number of different canvases we can pay attention to and answer questions on in a class.
This system allows us to have a good number of new canvases in every class – That’s always fun – and at the same time stitch with as many different people as possible. Win Win!
