The perfect canvas for spring or summer stitching (can’t you feel the breeze rustling through the leaves just a little bit?). Our sweet bird hovers ever so gracefully over the poppies to grab a quick moment of energy. And the stitch and thread suggestions will equally offer a burst of momentum to bring this project to life.
Even though there looks to be a jungle of leaves on this canvas, they are fun (trust me!). Different stitches, different threads, and even a few felted ones! You’ll have them stitched in no time. And the poppies are kept super interesting by way of composite stitches and rearranging the threads within the pattern to make the flowers look different! Brilliant plan (and it worked!). And our little hummingbird receives extra special attention to ensure he’s stays light as a feather, but makes a statement. Dimensional beading using different sizes of beads! Yay…another brilliant plan and it worked! <LOL>
What can I say, this project is a customer favorite and for good reason….super cheery, bright, a relatively quick stitch, and Oh! Fun! And of course, our stitchguide is complete not only with instructions and diagrams, but lots of full color photos to keep your energy level charged up.
