What a cutie with personality! Hermina is all dressed for the occasion and ready to go trick-or-treating! Check-out her pumpkin cut-out costume. And don’t you love her black & white sweater with the tangerine skirt peeking out? And what about her friend (aka the frog) that is hanging on for dear life inside the purple gourd! So much whimsy and humor. <smile>
To keep the whimsy alive, Hermina’s face is stitched very lightly to allow her cute pink cheeks show through. Her sweater is the perfect combination of Fuzzy Stuff and ribbon (how cool is that?). And the skirt….layered stitches to achieve texture. Brilliant! Our little frog is beaded, using different techniques to give the illusion of arms vs. body. And last but not least…the EYES! Both our frog and gourd have eyes that require special attention…brads and plastic rings did the trick! And if that wasn’t enough…Hermina’s background also has cute Halloween eyes scattered about.
