This beauty is a new addition to David’s collection of canvases and what a beauty she is! Constant Companion quietly made her debut during one of our weekend embellishment classes and is available as a canvas with stitchguide or as a complete kit.
This canvas possesses vibrant colors, an abundance of wonderful elements, and masterfully conveys the special relationship between the Geisha and her protector. And accordingly, silk threads, ribbons, and beads bring this canvas to life. Open stitches quietly lay in the background, various beading techniques play an important role to play up the dragon’s fierce personality while “fretwork-like” decorative stitches adorn the Geisha’s dynamic kimono. This project is absolutely packed with great textures thanks to dimensional stitches, beautiful threads and embellishments. And my stitchguide is complete not only with instructions and diagrams, but many full color photos.
