This project is nothing short of pure magic! The sun’s face is stitched in a “swirl” blackwork pattern that quietly supports his whimsical disposition. And Wowza….the delightful coins surrounding this magical fella are brought to life with beads, pearls, Swarovski jewels, Czech cabochons, buttonhole covered rings, ribbon work, crescents, lazy daisies, and oh so much more. I like to think of this project possessing pretty much everything, including “the kitchen sink”, when it comes to fabulous embellishments and techniques! And accordingly, the stitchguide won’t disappoint by offering complete instructions, diagrams, color photos and lots of detail to guide you through the magic.
